1924 Roadster Pickup
SOLD
You'll be hard pressed to find anything that is as much fun as this to drive, scroll down for more pictures.
I drove this back from Sanford Maine on rte. 95 at 75 mph most of the way without a worry, it drives and rides excellent.
This little truck is an absolute blast to drive, and has been verified by the state of Maine as a Street Rod.
I spoke to the guy that originally built this truck and found out a lot about it's beginning.
The front end section, frame, steering, brakes etc. are from a 1981 Toyota pickup.
The Motor is a 302 Ford Bored .30 over with 2 bbl carb, auto trans, and 8.8 posi rear mounted with leaf spring rear suspension.
The rear frame and bed were custom built as was the front grill which was stamped out of stainless steel.
I do have a three piece hood assembly that came with the truck with red paint matching the rest of the truck but I took it off to tune motor and liked the way it looked better with hood off.
The bucket seats are molded with removable vinyl padded covers and the dash is oak.
